Xmas Ride – 20th December, 2015
The family ride and youth ride is on the 20th December (sorry party goers) and both rides will meet at the Bridge at 10.00, the youth ride will go off first to do something longer and faster. The family ride will set off to the Cavendish and meet the Youth ride there for hot chocolate. We may split the family ride on the day so everyone has a good ride.
In good old ICC tradition fancy dress would be great or a decorated bike (prizes available), it would be great to see the youths and leaders (as well as the little ones) in Santa outfits – it makes a good sight a whole peloton in outfits.
Family ride – bikes, tag alongs , bike seats all welcome. All children have to be accompanied, contact me if there is a problem with this.
In the event of ice I will post on the morning by 8.30 am otherwise it will run – we have had some fun wet rides in the past.

Sunday 21st is our much loved Tinsel Ride out to the Cavendish Pavilion, Father Christmas and other festive outfits, dressed up bikes and general fun. This year I intend to split the ride on ability (older rider going further and faster) if I have enough adults, let’s see good riding manners and care taken. So we set off at 10.00 am from the Bridge – we need to make a critical mass with outriders at the front and back and parents with their children. If you are a non cycling parent contact me and let’s see what we can do. Prizes for the best dressed bike and the best outfits.
Tandems, tag alongs and passengers welcome, the only require is that you child can ride to the Cavendish, little ones can meet us at the Cavendish and just do the last bit or just come for a hot chocolate.
Would be very helpful if we had some experience riders at the front and back for the littlies group and some of our more speedy riders to keep the older riders in a controlled fashion.
We will all come together at the Cavendish.
