Firmly established as one of the 'must-do' events, and a true classic in every sense of the word, the event is taking place on the 7th July 2013. |
Offering you a choice of 3 challenging routes; 110 miles, 84 miles and 50 miles, and taking you through the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, it really is a showcase event for the very best the beautiful Yorkshire Dales has to offer.
The event headquarters will be at the fantastic facility at Ilkley Rugby Club again at the edge of Ilkley, providing changing and showering facilities, parking, food and drink.
The White Rose Classic is donating at least 10% of the profits to Sue Ryder . They support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. .

When: Sunday 7th July 2013.
Start Times:
Long Route - You can start anytime between 06:30 am and 09:30 am
Medium Route –anytime between 7:30am and 9:30am
Short Route – anytime between 8:30am and 10am
HQ: Starting and finishing at Ilkley Rugby Club, Denton Road, Ilkley, West Yorkshire LS29 0BZ
Routes: Your choice of 3 challenging routes through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, 110 miles, 84 miles and 50 miles
Price: £30 per rider, including car-parking, food-stations, chip-timing and post ride food & 'goodies' .
Entry: Ilkley Cycling Club is running the event in conjunction with British Cycling, and will be using their event management system. Entries opening soon (will be accessible via the British Cycling Website .)
The maximum number of entries across the three events will be 1,000 and it is expected that the event will sell out very quickly.

What else: free “Family Zone” at the HQ for your family and friends while they wait and the outstanding beauty of the Yorkshire Dales for you to enjoy.
At least 10% of any profits will go to local charity – Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, with the remaining surplus going to help the newly formed Ilkley Cycling Club support grass-roots cycling in Yorkshire.
